An email inbox was breached and 186,479 documents were compromised. The review management team used ediscovery methods to identify which documents contained PII, but they were far too overinclusive — they swept nearly half of the documents into the review population.
Using advanced PII detection and machine learning models, Canopy reduced the false positives, flagging 89% fewer documents, and saving the response team nearly 2,000 paid hours in document review.
